We very much enjoyed our Winterdance half-day dogsled tour. A fun but thorough orientation in a welcoming cabin before the dogs were harnessed and ready to go. Flying along the snowy trails through beautiful woods was an exciting and unforgettable experience. We were impressed by the care the staff demonstrated for the dogs, and how we were expected to do... More

We recently took our daughter to winterdance for her eighth birthday. It happened to be St Patties day! The staff were wonderful, very friendly and professional. You could tell they loved their jobs. It was a beautiful day and a we really enjoyed the entire experience. They even served up a delicious chocolate cake to our daughter after the excursion,... More

I am always cautious when animals are used in tourism, however I feel that this is one place where the dollars you spend goes towards providing dogs with a good quality of life while being able to enjoy what they love to do most. We did the half day tour on a perfect, sunny cool winter morning and thoroughly enjoyed... More

We did the 2-hour dog sled tour at this wonderful facility in Halliburton. What an awesome experience. My son who is 14 absolutely loved it, as did I. He did most of the riding of the sled while I sat and sook in the sights. Dogs are wonderful. Lots of time to familiarize yourself with the dogs before heading out... More

This is a fantastic experience that is truly a must do. We did the 1/2 day tour on a very cold March morning and it was a delight. After a overview on how to operate the sleds we were able to meet and bond with our 5 dog team. Each dog has its own distinct personality which sets them apart... More

This experience was a gift from our daughter and her husband who weren't sure if we would enjoy the outing..... well, We Loved It! The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The dogs are extremely well kept and their excitement while hitching up the teams getting them ready is obvious. Their yelping, tugging on the harnesses and prancing is... More

So don't come here if you're expecting to be taxied around by these Siberian huskies. It's very hands on and intense so you'll certainly get some adrenaline flowing, if you're mushing that is! The dogs are great, the track is fast and perilous but the stunning scenery and the amazing dogs really make this a more fulfilling experience. Mackie was... More

My family and I went dogsledding the beginning of March at Winterdance. I cannot say enough about our experience. We had an amazing time. The guides were excellent, friendly and made sure we knew how to drive the sleds appropriately. The dogs were so friendly, cuddly and loved the attention. It was very obvious that they are treated very well...... More

We found Winterdance on the internet and booked the 2-hour dog sledding tour with them. It was such a great experience, we loved the dogs and the area! Absolutely worth the money, we loved it!
