Recently did the group tour and truly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Alex was very knowledgeable and took time to answer lots of questions. The facility was very impressive with lots of space for the dogs and high security for their safety and the safety of visitors. While interacting and feeding the wolfdogs you can see their instinctive wolf traits.... More

We visited the sanctuary as part of an east coast tour of Canada. At the commencement of our visit we were provided with a group talk about the wolfdogs. The talk was provided in an interesting and fun way and enable us to gain a better understanding of wolfdogs as well as the work done by Yamnuska. The sanctuary provides... More

They are doing great work at the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary. Went there in the beginning of October because I really love wolves. The work they do there to rescue the wolfdogs is very special. Interacting with them while the guide explains how they are rescued and what they do for them was amazing. We enjoyed the morning there. Just after... More

Everything about this was just what I had hoped for: the sanctuary is taking excellent care of its animals, and educating the public while letting us interact with their fabulous wolf packs. It's in a beautiful and well-maintained setting, and I was really impressed with our guide's knowledge. The high point for me personally was definitely getting kisses from a... More

We had a great time visiting the Wolfdog sanctuary and learning about, wolfs, wolfdogs, and meeting some great animals. The staff were knowledgeable and engaging, and the wolfdogs beautiful animals. The work being done by the dedicated team at the sanctuary deserves support. Worth a visit.

We booked a tour for the wolf dogs and were not disappointed. From being greeted in the gift shop by Skookum, a VERY large dog (Malamute?)...to being in the pen and getting to handout out treats, it was a great day. Weather was on the cooler side which seemed to bring out the playful side of them - a couple... More

Very good explanation of what a wolf dog is. Staff are very friendly. Good gift shop. I felt it was a bit expensive for what it was but maybe because we are from England with a low pound!

Went on a beautiful Saturday morning and had a great time. It's an easy stroll around the enclosures. The staff was great and shared lots of knowledge (the "dogs" look their best in winter when they have their full coats and are more playful). It's very well kept and they obviously are dedicated to helping the animals. Definitely work the... More
