Set quite a way out of Monteverde in an area called Cerro Plano up the hill. Room after room of different crafts so lots to look at but nothing had a price on it so didn't want to keep asking. Walked out withoout buying anything.
Very close to the center of Monteverde, this place is the best art gallery. The garden also have a round house with beautiful women clothing by Costa Rica designer and silver jewellery. You have to visit this place!!!
we were passing by and the initial pagoda catches your attention. We took about 20 minutes to look around and see the variety of arts presented. The "space" is lovely and breaks up the walk down from Monteverde to Santa Elena
We loved this shop. Many rooms in this house with art collected/submitted from many artists. There was paintings, cards, carvings, souvenirs, hand painted masks, glass blown objects etc.
It well worth a visit. Look for the sign for the Monteverde Art House.
