Historic building amidst breathtaking scenery tempts visitors to explore along the riverside, surrounding parkland and the rugged hills and gorges. Magnificent ! Comfy cafe with good selection of drinks and food.

Nat Trust attraction is compact which was good for us. Lots to explore from a slow walk around the Italianate garden to a climb up more steps than I could count.
