lovely place to visit in the peak district. you can wander around the grounds. there's so much wild garlic that's very pretty and fragrant. we just parked close by on the street for free.More

We spent an excellent few hours at this NT property, walking to the 'stepping stones' and beyond, enjoying the views. We had a nice late lunch on the lawn at the tea rooms. It was quite busy, but probably normal for mid-August. Highly recommended.

Visit the village, paradise walk or Dovedale. It is all fun. There is a tea shop, campsite and gift shop. We enjoyed Dovedale and the stepping stones best.
