Clevedon Court holds a great collection of Nailsea glass, which was manufactured locally in the 19th Century, together with a grand display of Eltonware studio pottery; the manufacture of which was associated with Clevedon Court. The house itself has many interesting artefacts - stop by on the stairs for railway memorabilia. The gardens too are of interest being designed by... More

Free to National Trust members otherwise quite expensive for the short period this attractions holds. There is a small car park which takes about 30 cars otherwise you have to park in a lay by come residential road outside the property. While there are the usual rooms with guides and information sheets I found the most interesting features were the... More

Having visited this delightful property on many occasions and been charmed by the human scale of the rooms,we were lucky enough to be included in a private open house afternoon hosted by Lady Elton. Having gone beyond the rope barriers, climbed the spiral stone staircases, visited the private apartments, crossed the roof and taken tea on the terrace we shall... More

Enjoyed an informative hour walking, around this house and garden. Only open 2 - 5 on restricted days, but works well visiting Tyntsfield in he morning and Clevedon Court on way back. House staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The glass displays were colorful and enjoyable. The medieval great hall was great to see. worth a visit if NT member... More

Clevedon Court contrast with nearby Tintesfield. Medieval rather than Victorian where less means more. A fascinating exterior with a very comfortable interior well furnished and with some fascinating pictures. Has the charm of a family residence rather than a museum piece

Clevedon Court has a great hall, a screens passage, a chapel and porches that all date from the early 14th century, and the house also incorporates a small tower from the 13th century (with some outbuildings being of a similar age). The house was extended in the 16th century and further enlarged and altered in the 18th century, when its... More

My girlfriend and I decided to visit Clevedon whilst in the area visiting Tyntesfield. Upon our arrival we were surprised to discover how small the property and grounds were...however sometimes good things come in small packages. The house is beautiful and my girlfriend especially liked the fact that it's of a different period to many of the other national trust... More

On our journey home we selected a couple of random points to take a break and Clevedon court was one of them. The house was lovely, you are only able to see some rooms as the family still reside in the property. All rooms had a very knowledgeable guide in them which made it easy for the children to have...
