I loved the sense of being in touch with past theatre goers through the layers of paint visible on the walls and supports. Unusual to have the dress circle seats almost on the same level as the stalls.Very exciting to walk by the stage door...More

We saw Kneehigh’s ‘the Tin Drum’ here and it was magnificent. A really great evening out. BOV is in a great run of form at the moment

Lovely little theatre with amazing shows. Never been to one we did not enjoy. Great value in a great location, surrounded by all types of eating outlets.

Very lovely old theatre with varied repertoire. Side view seats a bit small. Undergoing major refurbishment of front of house, public spaces and studio, so check the easy to use website for up to date information.

have been in many yrs ago my father played in there at the moment there are doing alot work to the vic but the shows are still going on

We saw "The Caretaker" at the Bristol Ild Vic at a Saturday matinee performance. There are refurbishments going on currently so access is via the side entrance in Rackhay. Good parking within 1 minute of the theatre (NCO) makes access very easy and even the...More
