Located off St. Andrews Street is this 16th century college, Emmanuel college. It's a little bit away from the star colleges backing onto the river Cam but has its own charm.

Not a very notable building along the busy St Andrew's St, however, the interior is quite a nice place. This college is famous for its alumni the founder of Harvard University, John Harvard.

Many colleges charge, this one just welcomes. Its central & small - but gives an indication of the colleges. Try to stop someone to ask about "life as a student"

Emmanuel College is one of the nicer colleges. It features some rare stain glass windows and paintings, inside the main chapel.

Perfect for visitors, it's a very small college but they let you in for free and visit the nicest parts of the college. It's worth visiting, it takes 10 mins and pictures are allowed

Friends and I were in Cambridge for the day, and we didn't have time to visit its most popular attraction, King's College Chapel, because it would have taken too long to stand in line. To get an idea of how tranquil the front courtyards of...More
