A lovely way to spend an afternoon, getting lost among the different artefacts and objects from so many different cultures. Although, if possible, maybe there are too many interesting things in one space!

This museum has lots of interesting artifacts with key information, however some displays have been removed and not replaced. Kid friendly with fun activities.

We were very excited to visit this museum. I am personally interested in archaeology and I was not disappointed. The vast material of tribal artefacts were astonishing. We delved in deep taking in all the information that was offered. I would recommend to friends and...More

Aprt from the recently discovered gold & garnet Saxon cross, there are other Celtic, Roman & Saxon finds for local digs, plus a 14m totem pole from Canada, a large Papuan dugout and some Benin bronzes.

We stopped at this museum during a day in Cambridge, initially just to fill a quiet spell before lunch. However we found the museum fascinating and spent much longer than planned, looking at exhibits.
