Excellent visual and chill-out space. Fabulous views of Cathedral in background and runs down to river. Great outdoor space, kiddies playground and bandstand and sitting areas - but space to escape if want. Close to facilities - Cutter Inn is lovely and Geoff in the vintage ice-cream van by Babalyon Bridge and Waterside Antiques is a must visit - yummy!

Ely are very fortunate to have these lovely gardens by the river. They are simple yet charming and well worth a stroll.

One of my most favourite places to watch the world go by Last time spent with a glass of wine and with chips from Alan's on Broadstreet. Watching the summer sky with Ely Cathedral in view too. Simple pleasures

You can incorporate a visit to these gardens with a circular walk around Ely. Walk down to the river. turn right and walk along the river. turn right and walk through the gardens and out the other side. Cross directly over the road and walk through the grounds between the cathedral and the school and when you reach the road,... More

Very nice place to spend some time. Parking in Ely is free and Jubilee Gardens are free. Walk along the river side and watch the rowers and pleasure boats

The gardens are well maintained and provide a lovely entrance to the riverside with cafes and restaurants. It is a nice place to stop and sit for an hour or two.

It must have once be a splendour to the eyes, but over the years it has lost its sparkle. There isa lovely play area for smaller children, which is huge fun for the kids and great for either parent to participate or stand just outside the low picket fence and en joy the laughter of the children. At the end... More

Walked through to the river and heard a band in the park, the performance was very well attended, even though it was an overcast afternoon.

Nice little area to sit and watch the world go by close to the river. Plenty of seating in the gardens and all along the river. A good selection of places to stop for lunch, dinner or a drink too.
