Jubilee Gardens offers a nice space to wander or relax. It is clean and well cared for, The Gardens are situated close to the river and just a short walk from the town centre, car parks and the train station.

Gardens are large and we enjoyed walking through them as part of the Eel trail. There are different areas for activities, including a good sized lawn, children's play area and different plants.

Apart from the people spending the night on park benches, this is a please place to pass some time. The highlight is that it is riverside.

This was a very nice way of walking off breakfast, it took us down to the riverside. Think it would look nicer in the summer when there would be more colour!

Covers quite a large area from the riverside up to just below the cathedral. A pleasant walk, good place for a picnic.
