We really enjoyed this museum and the history of the Romans in Chester. We watched a video about Chester and how it was laid out previously to the present day. It was all very interesting. It showed artefacts from the Roman times.

I have visited the Museum over a period of many years, so know it well. It is well stocked with all sorts of Roman artefacts, and also a wonderful Silver collection. Although it has it's own permanent Art collection, it frequently hosts other exhibitions in...More

Did not know what to expect, but there was a lot to see. The Roman exhibit was particularly good. Some attractive paintings, a display of 70s dresses, and a house decorated in different eras with models and artifacts. You can see it all for free...More

Unfortunately none of the museum staff are producing eggs at this moment . Your pet tortoise will have to be kept chained up outside as we are worried he might try to chew dinosaur bones sorry
