Really beautifully kept valley garden, very sheltered with interesting established tropical type plants. Great maze that goes on forever. Garden extends down and around this verdant valley to a river with little village and gives a feeling of arrival. Quite a lovely walk down and...More

Glendurgan Garden has a wonderful collection of flowering shrubs at this time of year: magnolias, camellias and rhododendrons. We enjoyed the long, sloping walk down to the village of Durgan at the bottom, right on the river.

We went for a quick trip and ended up staying hours! There’s a great maze that everyone got happily lost in and then we took a path down to the hamlet and beach. It really was glorious perhaps put senses were heightened after four days...More

Well run and looked after by the National Trust, this is a beautiful valley garden with walks down to the village of Durgan on the river front. Lovely for an hour or so, but not nearly so special as Trebah next door, but good to...More

Spent a very pleasant hour and a half wondering down the gardens to the Helford River then back up hill to the cafe and shop.

A lovely afternoon walk down through the garden to Durgan. We did not have time to try the maze but should be wonderful for children. Beware this is a steep walk.

We enjoyed strolling around these gardens, the paths can be steep in places but there is a circuit suitable for the less able bodied. We managed to walk down to the historic fish cellar on the shore, admiring the views en route. Plants, trees and...More

The garden is a 15 minute drive from Falmouth. You can reach the garden by walking the coast path, it will take 2-3 hours from Falmouth. When you reach Durgan village, you can then access Glendurgan Garden.
