Went here in June 2017 with my cousin and her boyfriend. The beach has a great view BUT it is covered in stones and seaweed. Trying to walk to the shore involved stepping on many stones and through seaweed. It is not something I was...More

Went to Swanpool beach for a relaxing time, watched school children being taught for to use paddle boards and kayaks. Beach is shingle with sand available at low tide, very relaxing way to spend some time in the sunshine.

We spent last Friday night after the shanty with friends in 2 beach huts until nearly midnight just chilling on the beach. A great barmy night and a little area of paradise.

Great little beach to relax on or just walk around. Lovely little café to get a drink / ice cream. Good car park facility.

Not a vibrant, lively beach but one worth a visit. The hut selling ice-creams have some very interesting examples and worth a visit for this alone.

You know those days, ones where you say to yourself "This could be anywhere"? Well, that was us today on Swanpool Beach. A lovely day 25th May 2017. Bright sunshine and real warmth, producing a turquoise sea set against the cloudless azure sky. Yes, we...More
