A short train ride into the forest and you come to a nice adventure zone. Kayaking, crazy golf, play areas all of which are included in original ticket price (unusual these days!) Had lunch in the cafe which was nice, service was good despite it being a busy day.

Great half-day out. Enough to keep children entertained: crazy golf, playground, kayaking, miniature trains. Go early as the car park gets busy. A little tricky to find depending on the direction you are traveling from but satnav postcode takes to straight to the car park. Good value for money as all activities are included in the admission price. Would visit... More

planned a day here on Easter Sunday, and the staff from the moment we arrived were superb, we had the need for a disabled coach, and this was arranged with no problem and doors and seats adjusted for the hole family. There was a Easter special that day with a free mini egg and the children loved doing this, the... More

Visited the Lappa Valley Steam Railway today and kicked started our visit with a steam train ride into the park; the leaflet map does not give the sense of the amount of space provided so it was a nice surprise to know we'd be transported there by train. Once there we enjoyed 2 further train rides, a nice speedy circuit... More

I went with my husband and my 2 and 4 year old children. They have carriages that could fit my husbands electric wheel chair on, staff were really helpful. After the short train about ten minutes from the station to the park we played mini golf, went on the boats and also went on the smaller woodland train. My children... More

Great for my four year old, the small trains were great, the play area was very good and so was the canoeing lake. Seemed expensive at first but you can go on the trains as much as you like and on the canoes and play crazy golf so the day was enjoyed by all. The café was overpriced for small... More

We went here on the 19th April and was extremely dissapointed. I went with my husband and 2 year old son - The way that it is sold is very misleading! We arrived and paid £25.00 (thankfully my son is under 3 or would have been even more of a waste of money). We were lucky to get onto the... More

Lappa Valley park was excellent, we all loved it! Thought through with children in mind at every turn - microwave for baby food, low sinks in toilets, loads of play equipment and of course the trains. Very well priced given all you get. Excellent day out for family - two children, ages 2 and 5 👏🏽👬🚂

We've been regularly since our son was a toddler. 11 now but still wants to visit occasionally. Lots to do; boating, mini golf, play areas, maze and 3 narrow gauge trains to ride. All quite traditional fun. Allow 4-5 hours. Once you've paid entry all activities (except electric cars) are included, making it decent value. Food available but plenty of... More
