A 5 mile walk around Newquay's fascinating shoreline on the South West Coast Path, taking in the long sandy beaches with their Atlantic breakers which make it one of Britain's surf capitals, as well as its rocky headlands with their spectacular views out over Newquay Bay. People have lived here since prehistoric times, and there are some fascinating historical features en route.

There are some great walks all along the coast, we particularly enjoyed the Bedruthan Steps and associated beach.

Walked a short way along the path from Fistral Bay to Bedruthan Steps absolutely stunning. Arrived at the steps at low tide which meant we could go down on to the beach which is highly recommended.The wild flowers were wonderful would recommend walking in May...More

I love this walk and try to keep to the path close to the cliff end to really get a view of the sea (there is a path that just walks all the way through and you don't get the best view of the ocean)....More

dramatic coastal path walk, the sea is mesmerising! path is undulating and quite eroded in parts so care is required! but the views are immense!
