Visited here 24/05/2017. This place is absolutely beautiful, I felt as though I'd been kidnapped in my sleep and transported to the Mediterranean with all the beautiful palm trees. Well worth a visit and a beautiful way to pass on a couple of hours. I'm just getting into gardening and this place has certainly given me some inspiration. Going to... More

Trengwainton is a beautiful, peaceful place to visit. It's best when the trees are in full bloom-the beauty and varied colours are truly magnificent

Popped along to Trengwainton on Sunday,a very well laid out garden with lots of inter twinning pathways, amazing selection of shrubs, trees etc, lots of bench's dotted around for eating your pack lunch or resting weary legs, super view of Mounts Bay from " The Terrace ", we saw Squirrels,Finches, and Greater Spotted Woodpecker along our way, dogs are allowed here... The gardens are lovely, indisputably so, but I can't help but feel I've seen my fair share of camellias, hydrangea and bamboo to last me a life time(!). I very much enjoyed the walled gardens and the cafe was genuinely lovely. The house itself was closed. A nice way to while away a few hours.

Lovely gardens and a nice time walking around but £9 each is a bit much. The tea rooms was nice after with a lovely Cornish cream tea.

It was a pleasant walk and, as we are National Trust members, it was free entry. There were some impressive old trees, a relaxing tree fern glade, an interesting WW2 victory garden and a nice view to Mount's Bay. However, we have seen gardens around that were more interesting overall. It has potential, but perhaps June doesn't show it off... More

A good place to visit, but it is a bit hilly, but the view from the top of the hill is worth it. We think it is best to take a picnic here as the restaurant seemed VERY BUSY. Lots of lovely plants and you can go through the woods to the top of the hill, or take the road.

Pleasant gardens, dogs allowed on leads. Cafe friendly and serves good food. Sadly dogs not allowed inside - ironically we left the noisy annoying children inside, and sat outside with the well behaved dogs and children in the cold and drizzle! Free car parking at present.
