About
All of our pieces of pottery are handmade to the highest standards and we take pride in the high quality of our work. Precious metal lustres and gold are applied and each piece has at least three firings in both our electric and gas-fired kilns. The bold and elegant forms complement the watercolour-style decoration, which are often inspired by the North Cornwall coastline. All of our pottery is made in our workshop here at Port Isaac Pottery. Port Isaac Pottery is now proud to include the work of the rest of the family; Faye Hawkins with her unique handmade ceramics and her exclusively designed baby and toddler clothing range "Small Fry", Jo Hawkins upstairs gallery selling a range of giftware and clothing and Matthew Main's award-winning, inspirational photography. Chapel Cafe is a new addition to the family run business of Port Isaac Pottery. Our passion is simple local food & drink and great service! We prepare all of our food on the premises.

I wandered into this shop with no expectations- I was very pleased with what I found. Lovely art pieces to enjoy and buy, arranged in beautiful settings.

We went to Port Isaac on one of our days out and called in here for something to eat. The really friendly lady said that the kitchen had closed but that they were still doig cream teas and cakes. We opted for the cream tea. It was deleicious! Nice light, warm scones, plenty of jam and cream, topped with a Passion Fruit. Really lovely presentation! Lovely building too. Used to be a church. Will definitely come again if in Port Isaac!

Called in to this old building which apparently used to be a church. Very pretty inside with a varied collection of pottery and other items for sale. Well worth a visit if you are in Port Isaac.

Great for food & drink, but also to browse round the lovely gifts, artwork and much more. Really worth a visit, to find that special gift whilst also partaking in some of the deliciousness served in the tea room. The wander round the guest floor balcony, where the organ when it was a church is still in place.

We returned to Cornwall in October having delayed our original plans from April, and popped to Port Isaac as it is one of our favorite locations in England.
We did not eat in their this time but made some purchases in the shop instead.
Sadly, I have to say in the current climate and on this particular day the set up for entering and exiting was not managed very well at all. It was not clear on the entry or exit point so people were coming in and out from all directions. This made social distancing incredibly difficult as the lay out of the pottery does not allow for this under normal circumstances.
We love the pottery and I would like to think this was an exception on the day we went however, on this occasion we made our purchase and left rather quickly.
Looking forward to seeing you again when we are through this current climate though!

This place has a nice and affordable menu but it gets very busy. If you want to eat make sure you eat first because if you go round the shop first you have to exit and join the queue to come in again to eat. So we missed out on their good food.
