Wow. What a truly beautiful beach. Small in size, but immensely well maintained with gorgeous white sand and just enough in the way of facilities to not be over commercialised. Pretty empty on a November afternoon, but a truly lovely place to be nevertheless.

This beach was within view from our hotel and was absolutely beautiful and just a few minutes' walk from the hotel via a pathway.

OK Porthmeor is popular but this has everything, glorious sands, it is sheltered and there are sufficient amenities without there being too many and spoiling it. The beach is immaculate and well cared for and lovely views over to Godrevy Point.

Wonderful sandy beach - the sea doesn't disappear at low tide either. Lots of amenities and activities for children too

The beach is small but beautiful. It is clean and well maintained. It is surrounded by the most beautiful scenes of St Ives and you can grab a latte in the beach bar. Well worth a visit with the dog or with children.

We're not beach types but enjoyed the view and in October at least it was not busy. I would imagine it's heaving in summer though. Looks like they allow dogs, although that might only be in Winter season or at certain times. Make of that...More

A real seaside beach - the place to build sandcastles and enjoy a family holiday. There are cafes and takeaways, plus amenities. Well worth a visit

Hello there, we stayed in Trowan which is just about a 15 minute walk into St Ives, sadly I don't know anywhere in the middle of St Ives, however having walked all round St Ives, nearly every other property is a holiday... More

It's flat so great for paddle boarding. They do hire surf boards but you do surfing on the beach on the other side of St. Ives.
