Huge beach where all of the locals come out in almost any type of weather -- bring the dogs, the kids ... run around and have a ball.

I had heard about this and couldn't wait to see it in person. Did not disappoint. We spent the afternoon there and just soaked up the sun and the view, watched people play in the waves. Lovely.

Fantastic beach location with some superb surf. In the summer its heaving so get down early to set up camp!

A lot of crazy likeminded people taking a dip in the sea with the mermaid on Boxing Day in aid of charity. Lots of fun and highly recommended. Good hot chocolate served by the cafe after!!

This beach has always been one of our favourite beaches in the UK. The beach is extremely clean, has a large scope, sandy, very clean seawater and in the summer months dogs are not allowed on the beach. Enjoy this beach and it’s qualities.

This beach has remained one of my favourites since coming to Cornwall in 1995; near the town and hotels.

This beach is wonderful and right in town. Enjoy a walk on the golden sand with a view across to the lighthouse and town.

It's flat so great for paddle boarding. They do hire surf boards but you do surfing on the beach on the other side of St. Ives.
