A favourite beach for us especially in the winter months when the tourists have gone home and dogs are allowed on the beach. Great walking, but also great for kids to dig and collect bits and pieces for beach art. Its a great favourite for...More

This is one of the finest beaches near St. Ives. There is ample car parking and good pathways to the beach. In October we nearly had the beach to ourselves with artists, surfers, dog walkers and horse trotters. For a very peaceful setting you must...More

A wonderful day out at a superb location. We will go back with our wellies as I would love to paddle in the rock pools.

Another my favourite beach! :)) I think around St.Ives are the most beautiful beaches in England. :) You have to really visit. :)) This beach is also sandy. I have never seen some tourists sunbathing here. The beach is for surfers. Near the beach are...More

Three miles of sand, the Atlantic Ocean, dunes, a seal colony, a lighthouse and all the fresh clean air you could want. Fabulous for dogs too although it's late October now so I would recommend seeing if there are summertime restrictions.

We always visit this beach when in Cornwall. Big sandy beach with lifeguard cover. Park in the National Trust car Park and then a few minutes walk to the beach. Beach great for surfing, body boarding, kite flying and beach games.

Great beach with easy access and a brilliant cafe (shame it overlooks the car park). Great for watching surfers and for dog walking. Dunes there for the non doggie months (boo).

Gwitian is a top surf beach and includes Lifeguards from Easter to October . It has public toilets but has a dog ban in place

Great for dog walking and children playing. Dogs are allowed to the left of Gwithian beach steps during summer period. Miles of golden clean sand to walk. Sea was lovely and warm.

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!

I did not see any signs for a specific area for dogs to be walked on.
