For a truly out of this world experience, don't miss out on the fun at the Milky Way Adventure Park - recently voted Devon's Large Attraction of the Year. Just 10 minutes outside of Bideford in North Devon awaits a full day of adventure for the whole family come rain or shine. Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster - enjoy the panoramic views from the top, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Have a close encounter with aliens in the Clone Zone dark ride and take on the huge death slide in the Time Warp - if you dare. The newest addition is an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia - one man's vast private collection of characters, collectables and fan art from film and TV...from Daleks to Darth Vader! There's plenty for smaller adventurers too including the innovative Little Stars play centre designed for babies to pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, a dressing up area, roll play pizzeria complete with kitchen, tables and food to stimulate imaginative play - and even a pretend car wash with ride-on cars. The park also boasts the UK's largest bouncing pillow, as well as a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults. One of the parks most popular attractions are the droid destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, including little ones with special gentle rides for smaller visitors. Another favourite is the Time Warp - North Devon's biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children. To wind down, visitors can take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way railway, and then sit back and enjoy the shows which include Merlin from Britain's Got Talent with his fun packed skills and thrills show and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Birds of Prey Centre. The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so you can be sure that the show goes on whatever the weather! Alongside this, there's plenty to try your hand at including archery, golf and laser shooting for all the family. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, The Milky Way is the biggest all weather, family day out in North Devon. It's designed to be fun for parents as well as kids and there are no hidden extras as all of the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee. Your adventure awaits you - are you ready?

We went to the Milky Way on the 23rd April. It was a lovely day out, tons to see and do, great mix of entertainment for smaller guests and adults too! Both bird shows were fantastic, falconer (is that what they're called?!) was really knowledgeable and his birds were incredible. All staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely... Fantastic fun with our children and we were able to take our dog too which was great, he was allowed in most areas so we didn't miss anything including a very well kept maze and a short mini train ride. There was an outdoor roller coaster which was good but quite shaky and stops quite suddenly at the end. We... More

Thanks so much for your kind words Sammy - it's lovely to know that you had such a great time at The Milky Way, and that you found your day to be such good value. I'm pleased you hadn't overdone it on the dodgems - they can be quite compelling, can't they, and many people say they go on them... More

Great value for money, loads to do indoors and outside! Better for young children and 'tweens' rather than teenagers, but even so we all loved it. The shows and displays are not to be missed either.

The milkyway is bright and full of stars, unfortunately this place is dull and lifeless. In need of a serious updating, more rides a good clean and makeover. You can have more fun in the local park. This places is something from 1974. We spent £60 of our hard earned money getting in, not worth a single penny.

We were so sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit and a little surprised that you didn’t speak to us on the day, as we would have been very happy to offer a refund for what sounds like a very short and unhappy visit. As you'll see from our other reviews, the vast majority of visitors award us... More

We spent the afternoon here, we didn't have time to do everything! LOADS for my 18 month old to do - even the Rollercoaster! Great Birds of Prey display and Merlin Show. Lots of open space and things to do - would recommend and will return. ALL the staff we met were friendly, helpful and funny(!) Great for families with... More

You're very welcome! It's lovely to know that your little one had a great time with us - did you find Little Stars, too (our play area with lots of adventure and imaginative play designed for those aged 0-6)? We really hope you'll be able to come again - one of the (many!) great things about The Milky Way is... More

This park was a great fun day out. We were visiting with two 14 year olds, 7 year old plus our small dog. The dog was welcome to come into the park. Obviously not in the restaurant or the indoor play barn. As there were two of us to manage this wasn't a problem. All the children had great fun... More

We took our 7 year old to the Milky way over the Easter weekend and found that there was plenty to do. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the coffee shop was reasonable prices, although we only has drinks, so can't comment on the food. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review Sharon, and we'd love to welcome you back again next time. It's a shame your son wasn't quite tall enough for the Cosmic Typhoon, though we're glad he found lots more to enjoy. As I'm sure you'll appreciate, we do have to adhere to very strict safety standards to ensure the... More

We were staying just down the road and took our 8 yr old daughter and 6month old son for a day in the Easter holidays. The car park appeared busy but actually, as the activities are quite well spread it did not feel busy. The birds of prey shows were great and very informative. It is clear that the keeper... More

That's great to hear Aaron. As you've found, one of the many great things about being on such a large site is that there's plenty of space and things to do, which means short queues even when we have lots of visitors. We'll certainly take your comments about the lights on board. We'd love to welcome you back again too... More
