Coleton Fishacre is a lovely period house in the Devon countryside, kept as it was when the family lived there in the 1920's, and the gardens are superb, so much verity. Taken over by the National trust it is a credit to their organization, allowing...More

A beautiful, tasteful and elegant house in amazing gardens with sea views. Stunning. Approached via twisting, narrow lanes - to get the best views go from Dartmouth and the ferry as a foot passenger and take a taxi as by the time you have paid...More

Without a doubt this is the finest National Trust property that we’ve ever visited. Place is expertly curated. Volunteers and staff are friendly and helpful. The house and gardens are beautiful. Views are spectacular.

Coletone Fishacre is my favourite NT property, I look forward to visiting every time we stay in nearby Brixham. On our April visit the rill garden was out of bounds with gardeners busy preparing the beds, but there was plenty of colour elsewhere around the...More

Lovely place for long walks in the gardens with beautiful views of the SWC. Relatively "modern" house full of Art Deco and history of a famous family.

Yes you can get to Coleton Fishacre via South West Coast Path, but I advise you to use the correct O.S Map because there are a couple of different ways to go each one can be quite strenuous.
