We took a boat ride from Dartmouth to Greenway, such a relaxing way to arrive at this unique house. The timed tour wasn't at all rushed, it just allows for a sensible number of people to be moving through the house comfortably. An eclectic collection made over many years by Agatha Cristie is a joy to see and the house... More

We had a lovely day at greenway - we are members of National Trust and had not visited before. We booked parking ahead of arriving (essential). Kids loved the treasure hunts (inside the house and outside) and the staff were great (the piano player in the drawing room was amazing). We had a picnic overlooking the Dart and found a... More

Six of us visited on a cold February day. The house is set in marvellous surroundings, on the banks of the River Dart. Lovely grounds, and walled garden. Once inside the house your transported back to a bygone era. The guides are knowledgeable and are there to answer any question. Well done the National Trust.

Greenway was very well kept and the gardens were nice to walk around. We didnt think our children would like it but seemed happy enough and they loved the boathouse. Worth a visit.

Visited the house recently and admired the many rooms on display. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The house itself is surrounded by lovely gardens and walks.Note travelling by road be extra careful of single road with curves

Greenway is well worth a visit-house and gardens are really interesting. We took the small ferry across the river and then a short walk up the hill to the house.

Visited here for second time today and what a lovely experience from happy, caring staff - thank you all for such a lovely warm welcome and a thoroughly lovely day 😊. Without a doubt one of the best NT properties we have visited. We had wonderful food in the cafe - the best we had found in days nearby. Although... More

Visited with my wife on this fine December last Friday of 2016. The sun eventually burned the foggy mist away the blue sky shone through adding to the beauty of these gardens albeit mostly in their semi dormant state however the camelias were in flower as were the daffodils as we walked to Agatha's house. The house was quite magnificent... More
