The facilities are great with toilets and parking is reasonable Also the ridge cafe does a great pork and apple burger. One of the blue trails is closed for maintenance at the moment, but it's the short easy loop so no great... More

Fantastic day spent walking worth the 8yr old cycling. Weather was fab although a little breezy on the ridge. Gruffolo trail fab for the little ones and adults alike. Cafe great, have a variety of foods at reasonable prices. Great day out.

Have been going to Haldon Forest mountain biking for some time now being the closest trail centre to where I live and it is generally very good with a good range of trails to suit all abilities including a pump track and skills area. The park does get very busy during peek times, weekends and holidays but the trails are... More

Had a nice picnic there with the residents from my care home last week. Nice area, always recharging our batteries with the abundance of greenery. Good access and facilities.

Lovely walk but very expensive day out if you do not take a picnic. Children's picnic box with a stale roll was really expensive over £6 and sausage roll over £3 in the snack hut. Parking also expensive

A must for cyclists and some good walking trails too. Free parking and a good cafe on site. Worth a visit.

Such a beautiful forest. Went there with my wife and two children under three. The satnav got us very lost en route so check your maps first.

Haldon Forest Park is described as an area of outstanding natural beauty - it was a definitely just an average for me and my family. We have talked all over Devon and this was not a stand out. The paths were wide and easy to walk with a family but as for outstanding natural beauty, I've seen much better.
