Stopped here on a recommendation by a friend. Thought we would have a 'light' lunch! Food was great and amount was far beyond a 'light' lunch!! Beer was good and the landlord friendly. Would recommend as only just out of Exeter. Will be returning! 😀

As we were staying in the area decided to try one of the local pubs. An interesting interior with a couple of different rooms. A good menu and the food was excellent. Service was good too.

People are friendly and the drinks are of a high quality, not expensive either. Always someone to chat to and the food is what you want when casually dining.

The food here is very good, we started with the potato and leek soup, excellent, followed by the crumbed white bait, also really good . Tony is the perfect hotelier mixing well with his customers and I would imagine always good for a laugh. I...More
