Taking the Sea tractor over to Burgh Island when the tide is in is really a one off experience.,and if the weather is a bit rough or windy then watching the waves meet is really spectacular

Surrounded by fantastic sandy beaches the island can be reached by walking at low tide or on the "tractor" which in itself is an amazing experience. Go in the morning on a hot day to get an outside seat at the pub.

My wife thought it was very snobby. On arriving at island was imformed the public house was open to hotel residents only or regulars!!!!No picnics allowed , which we can just about accept. It was noticeable there there was no sign or noise of seagulls !!!!. Don't bother to visit .
