Lovely to sit and watch world pass by. plenty space 2 sit and eat picnic and also place 2 have bbq and few drinks with friends. also nice cafe near by for drinks and snacks as well as nice meals. would recommend to anyone visiting...More

Love being there. Just walk around, buy some ice cream in the summer and enjoy the scenery! Take lots of photos!

Where else in the uk can you walk to the top of a road and see such superb views-- Nowhere but Plymouth. Just walk up Elliot street, and at the top you will see superb views and a Island. Drakes Island

We could reach this from our hotel, however, it was when the wind was blowing horizontal and driving rain. It is well worth seeing a bit of our heritage and if in the area well worth a visit

Interesting & pretty place to eat & walk through with lots of restaurants of differing varieties. Walks around the waterfront are very peaceful and nice

The wheel was fantastic, stunning views of the City and The Barbican,. A good audio description whilst going around. If you are scared of heights not advisable as my husband was quite worried about feeling sick. We did go up on a very windy day...More

I would advise to stay away from the Hoe! They have fairground rides etc. You can view the fireworks from mountbatton, devils point or jennycliff. Wherever you choose to go, get there early, it gets very busy x

What a lovely thing to do, and yes the Hoe is well lighted and very safe for cycling as there are various traffic calming measures preventing the lunatics from spoiling your time there. Enjoy!
