Second to the gardens this was the next most enjoyable thing we did. Could have been an art gallery in any major city, good sized with a lot of quality works on display. Worth a look

Well established and always interesting. Not cheap. Local or west country painters. Have bought from here and very satisfied. A few exhibitions a year but usually a reasonable mixed selection to browse. Chatty and well informed staff. Just unpredictable hours.
