Big fans of gin so this distillery tour was a must for us. Having been on many different whisky distillery tours we imagined this to be similar but instead of a long tour around the the distillery you literally go into one room and then...More

Fantastic 2 and a half hours spent learning about the history of Plymouth gin, followed by a tasting session and then mixing our own gin, using a variety of different botanicals. So much fun! The tour was informative, and a real eye opener. It was...More

Visited the Plymouth Gin Distillery on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The facility and tour is quite small. Yet the staff are so friendly with an excellent knowledge of the history behind Plymouth Gin. Being taken through the individual botanicals that go into the Gin making...More

We arrived at 3:30 just in time to take the last tour that day (though I think normally the last tour is 4:30). Tickets cost £7 per adult. The tour was led by a young man who knew his stuff, firstly we heard about the...More

I can only comment on the cocktail bar and restaurant but wasn't disappointed with either. Friendly staff at the bar who would make up any drink you liked if you didn't want to choose from the vast array of gin-based cocktails on the menu. Great...More

A really interesting tour, with great samples! We did the cheaper guided tour filled with genuinely interesting talks. Really recommend popping in. Also highly recommend the bar upstairs.

Booking through the website was easy, although it’s a very popular tour so book in advance. The tour was compact, but informative. You learn a lot about gin and how it is made, as well as the history behind the brand. Getting to sample the...More

The Plymouth Gin Distillery is close to the Barbican which is fascinating in itself! But take time to go on the tour of the distillery and take a meal in the wonderful restaurant - great food at great prices. If you simply want to stay...More

Went on the 40 minute guided talk - really interesting by a very knowledgable young man. On another visit I would like to do one of the other tours. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you! My only niggle - the bar staff had lovely t-shirts on,...More

We had a 40 minute tour and it was great. My husband and I love gin and sadly Plymouth gin has always been one we walk past. It was great hearing about the history and trying a sample. Smelling the different aromas was great. We...More

The main difference is that you get to make your own gin on the £40 one. On the £7 one you just get a free G & T or a miniature to take home It’s a slightly longer tour but think the £7 one was very good.

They start at 10.30 and are half past every hour. I would advise booking as we are extremely busy.
