Walked past the Plymouth Gin Distillery and saw that they did tours of the works. The trip lasted about 40 minutes and cost£7.00 each. The guide was Pippa and she made the whole thing interesting. We saw a selection of products that go into making the gin as well as the history of the company. This was followed by a... More

We visited this fine establishment last Wednesday. The guided tour was very interesting and the young lady Becky, was very informative. She guided us round and gave a brilliant history tour. The only part that could be better, would be to move the rude Scottish lady out of the public eye. She came across as abrupt aggressive and generally loud.... More

This place is interesting, but could be a lot better I think. Shopping experience of gifts relating to Gin or Plymouth is very limited when everyone is currently "in to" Gin you won't an exceptional gift here. Missed opportunity !!

If a walk to digest the Sunday Lunch is required, the Breakwater is an excellent place to go. Children can run free or cycle as it is pedestrianised and exhaust all their boundless energy in complete safety. Adults can watch the comings and goings in the Sound and enjoy a walk at the same time. Perfect for a family visit.

Came here with my other half and some friends, it was really good. The history behind Plymouth Gin is very interesting and the room where it is all distilled is quite amazing. The tasting room was incredible, who knew there were so many gins! A visit to the cocktail bar after is a must - many many gin cocktails to... More

Interesting and informative tour around a very old and historic distillery. Only did the short tour, more involved experiences are available. Gin and tonic included.

Whilst visiting Plymouth recently we decided to do one of the Tours at the Distillery, being lovers of Gin we went with open minds. The tour guide was called Pippa and she was fantastic, very knowledgeable and funny. The tour we took was the cheapest option at £7 with this we had the tour, tasters in the taste & smell... More

Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed a tour of this fascinating business. Located in the pre-Reformation Monastery gave the tour and explanation of the distilling process that added spice. Our guide was most informative and well versed in the history of the building and humerous too. The taster session was excellent. The old monastery's refectory now serves as a very... More

Went to the distillery for a birthday, and had a brilliant time. It was a good couple hours. We got the tour done by a lovely guy, very friendly and knew his stuff. The process was interesting and made just that much better with some taste testing :) Finished the evening with a couple drinks in the bar upstairs.
