The Country Park is free to walk around and features beautiful formal gardens, lakes and woodlands which can be enjoyed via a network of paths. Cockington Court and Cafe are nearby, along with a collection of craft studios where you can browse the creations of local artists and crafts people. Pretty as a picture postcard. A little piece of escapism. Could easily have stayed longer bit needed to journey home. Fantastic cream tea to finish off. Who could ask for more?

Very easily to get to via local bus service from Torquay. Footpaths very unstable whilst waiting for bus on return. Otherwise a most enjoyable time spent at Cockington Village.

This has to be one of the loveliest villages in Britain with its unspoilt thatched cottages and especially the Rose Cottage Tearoom with its large Japanese style gardens. Take a trip to Cockington Court by Pony and Trap, great

Charming, quintessentially English. The cafe was wonderful. Very Midsummer murders... without the murders! The staff were friendly and the cream tea was yummy. Beautiful gardens and all very clean. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely couple of hours here relaxing whilst the dogs raced around. Pony and carriage kept going up and down the drive way and need to keep dogs away from it.
