Arrived at the hotel and checked in with ease, I purchased the my room through groupon saving myself £60 which was excellent. I paid the £20 for valet parking, my car was left outside the hotel for about an hour and a half but I...More

Lovely, clean, spacious room. Enjoyed our stay. The only thing to improve is maybe updating the shower to a more powerful one.

To say I was disappointed with this hotel is an understatement. It wasn't particularly clean, the rooms were shabby, hotel understaffed & the facilities poor. I would not recommend this hotel.

The once glorious and outstanding hotel really needs a refurb and safety check. I went here Bal in the 90s and nothing has changed much... For the name Royal in the title... please make it back to its former glory! Disappointed.

Hi I presume your conference is at the BIC which would be an easy commute but it dips down a bit near the pier. No too steep. My cousin stayed in a £35 a night basement room with absolutely no view except for a birds... More

Honestly when me and my boyfriend stayed he were loved it. Some people are just too picky about things. As long as you don't mind decor that's not modern but suits the hotel then I honestly wouldn't worry. We enjoyed our... More

Not totally sure but... I think probably a yes because our room had doors leading onto a fairly secluded garden area (shared by another 2 suites). And if it comes to it you could probably wheel your bike into your room... More
