Hengistbury Head marks the east end of Bournemouth/Christchurch beach, and is a contrast to the sandy beach. There is a paved path up the headland, through the scrub, past viewpoints and artefacts. The modern visitor centre is worth a visit

Yes, although I would suggest keeping dogs on leads due to live stock but awesome views. Visit the Hungry Hiker after your walk as they have a good selection of light bites.
