The gardens are quite magical and perfect for young children to run around and explore for a couple of hours. The house is interesting, helped by engaging and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant was also good. Big portions and good quality food. Kids meals were huge.

We recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding reception here. From start the finish the welcome and service was first class. The surroundings were beautiful, and although this is a Tudor house we were warm and toasty. The food was the star of the...More

The weather was mixed during my November visit on a Sunday: a few showers, brief dry spells and finally some sunshine. The welcome, however, from the Athelhampton House staff was radiant. An umbrella and guidebook were loaned to me to ensure I obtained good information...More
