A really lovely steam journey and worth paying the extra pound to ride in the observation car. A big thank you to the very informative gentleman giving us the commentary. It made the trip.

We did this trip with an age range of ten to 80. We all loved it. The station is a step back in time and divine. My youngest exclaimed with great joy “it’s like the Hogwarts express!” Just to experience such a lovely trip (we...More

The Swanage Railway is an analogue railway in a digital age. Wafting us with all of the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era to our destination. Life at a slightly slower pace. Lovely.

Did diesel to the castle and Steam back to Swanage. I have never been on a train like this but my dad has talked about them a lot growing up. It was a lot of fun stepping back in time.

We travelled between Swanage and Corfe Castle. Beautiful station at Swanage which delvers you right to the heart of the Town and sea front. Corfe Castle, one of the most visually pleasing castles I think, beautiful. A great ride back in time.
