This theatre located in the centre of Brighton is part of the Ambassador Theatre Group. It has a short colonnade outside the entrance and a nice traditional foyer. We were staying in the Brighton area and decided to see the show "Fracked Off". The site booking office staff were extremely helpful and we selected two seats in the Royal Circle... More

Sat outside and had some drinks, good choice of beers at reasonable prices, would recommend stopping for one or two whilst going around Brighton......great to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Closed Monday. Matinees Thursdays and Saturdays. Cheap tickets in the Gods released half an hour before the performance on the day. Pricy as most real theatres are in this day and age. Wonderful old atmosphere. Highly recommended. Bar and theatrical pub next door.

Visiting Brighton Theatre Royal is a must. I gather it's one of the best preserved theatre buildings in the UK, but still very relaxed and friendly. This time we saw Jasmin Vardimon's Pinocchio ballet with to grandchildren. We were all blown away .....

Saw the Million Dollar Quartet last Saturday, was absolutely brilliant !!!!! Had seats in the royal quarter, great view. If hadnt of booked so late and due to limited seating would have definitely preferred seats in the stalls. Amazing energy from the cast. Actually thought I was seeing and hearing Johnny Cash. Fantastic show, had a good boogie at the... More

We went here last evening to watch Million Dollar Quartet. There was no queues to get in, no queues for the toilets during the interval and we had great seats. If you choose tickets that say your view may be limited by a pillar, try to avoid them as it really does get in the way. However, there were enough... More

We were lucky to experience one of the Theatre Royal tours which was so interesting. It was a birthday treat for me and would highly recommend it. Christof ( sorry about the spelling) took us behind the scenes, into the royal box etc and was a brilliant guide giving us lots of interesting facts about the history of the theatre... More

We went here on an unplanned visit to see a show as we were in Brighton for a couple of nights. We had seats on the first row of the gallery, the view was ok however the seat was really uncomfortable, needed repadding. There was minimal leg room so you have to sit at an angle resulting in back ache... More
