A great place to visit,a 60s memorabilia was on show, lots of items that were around in my younger days. Would recommend this to every one: Slightly overpriced, but worth it.

It's good, but i was expecting more art, but thats my expectations too high, not the museums fault at all. nice place to take the kids or spend an hour or so solitarily exploring the objects and descriptions. definitely worth a visit to be honest

This is a very good museum, full of fascinating exhibits. The best for me was the part with the dance costumes and Indian shadow puppets. But there were lots more wonderful areas ... such as the fabulous silverware, the wonderful design award furniture and the...More

We were expecting an historical narrative, art and artefacts pertinent to the development of Brighton. This was lacking aside from a few poorly displayed items, and very few information labels. Surely a town that attracts great talent in other fields should be able to source...More

The Museum has an incredible permanent collection of items from Brighton's history, an excellent 20th Century gallery, a great ceramics collection, interesting paintings and a good fashion gallery. A really great revolving series of special exhibitions adds to the interest....recently Constable in Brighton, Jane Austen...More

I stumbled across this museum when I was trying to escape the rain. The low cost of entry (£5.20) was good value for money as there were lots of interesting artefacts-and exhibits. Enjoy!

I applaud a museum willing to confront current issues through artwork, and the exhibit at the Brighton Art Gallery did this in a thought-provoking way. Additionally, I found some nice pieces from local artists from past eras that gave me some perspective on Brighton, in...More

At £5.50 each this is pricey museum. There are a few good exhibits - Dali and Picasso works when we went. Lots of the rooms are not open and water leaks into the corridor. An interesting festival/carnival exhibit. Altogether a bit disappointing.

combined ticket available for both the Gallery and Royal Pavilion. This allowed us access to the Exhibition at no extra cost.
