An amazing street with an eclectic mix of bars, cafes and shops. Well worth the visit just to sit at one of the pavement cafes and watch the crazy world go by. A good place for vegetarians and vegans.You might get approached by a beggar...More

Stayed here several times. There are so many hidden gems in and around Kemptown. Lots of funky bars and plenty of eateries. Nice alternative to The Lanes although in close walking distance to them. Several great places to eat around here and then venture down...More

Our first time to Brighton and we were very happy to stay in Kemptown. Easy walking distance to all the great shops, restaurants and beach. Many good pubs and cuisine of all kinds. Fabulous shopping in the Lanes. Several historic attractions, as well.

Ive lived her for two years its has a very friendly little close village feel yet so close to everything(litrally 15 min wal) to town centre or 10 min walk to marina.

Hi cannot advise you really as it depends on your budget. Look for accommodation in Upper Rock Gardens as that is a lovely area. Do not book anything on St James's Street as that is always busy but lovely.If you really want... More

The pavements are quite well negotiable in a wheelchair as the kerbs are dropped at the ends of the roads. Some shops do have disabled access upon request but some are at street level. As the previous person says, Kemptown... More
