I have been using the Prince Regent regularly for the past year. I have always been pleased with the service I receive, the staff are friendly and considering the age of the complex and that its the only public pool in central Brighton they do a good job at keeping the facilities clean and tidy. The pool is 25 meters... More

I swim here twice a week. Firstly, is it a good idea to have kids jumping around the main pool after 6pm when adults are swimming? On many occasions I have almost been taken out by children blindly jumping into the pool. Lifeguards do nothing. Changing rooms are regularly filthy and smell of vomit. Showers cold, door locks broken and... More

My kids took swimming lessons at Prince Regent for a couple of years because we were eligible for a discount there thanks to our family membership. But in the end it was a false economy as all 3 of us have been completely put off swimming by the ridiculously cold conditions in this pool. The swimming lessons are of good... More

Pool is very dirty. Staff are unhelpful and slow to respond. Cold showers. When swimming at the end of the night staff are always getting in the way cleaning the changing rooms and closing off sections people need to use. Freedom leisure have a monopoly on public pools in Brighton so think they don't need to bother.

Our hotel pool was closed, we were told to come here as an alternative. It was cold, half of it was closed & the only section that had any warmth to it was restricted to 50 people and it was constantly full. Not impressed.....

I've always enjoyed the Prince regent but my ĺast 3 visits have been awful and I will not be returning . The main pool is cold . The sides of the pool were black with diet on the last visit and old plasters and bits of I don't know what were at the deep end of the pool . The... More

Nothing open for families until afternoon. Rude staff. school holidays yet swimming lessons took up 3/4 of the swimming pools despite being there 11.30am on a Saturday. Teenagers not allowed in training pool so only place for them was to do lengths in the lanes, told off if stopped. Not allowed to have fun. Young kids had to queue to... More

Wearing goggles only highlights the 'stuff' in the water, so not recommended! Today ice cold water in all but two showers, no hooks for towels in showers, dodgy locks ... First and last visit. Sorry

There are baby pools, a cordoned off shallow end with big floaty mats, a curly slide, a pool for aquarobics, lanes for various speed swimmers and a bit for general swimming. The changing rooms, lockers and showers. Pool's a bit dirty.
