If your looking for something you won’t find on a traditional high Street or shopping mall then visiting the shops along the lanes is a must, lots of unique shops and mainly independent as well, lots of eating places too catering for everyone

Just love a wander around the lanes - the most interesting shops and many hours can be wasted here. A must if you visit Brighton

Visited on Thursday 19th October. If you are looking for anything up market then this is best place to go shopping in Brighton. Full of interesting shops, restaurants, and hotels. Not to be missed.

Lovely boutiques for men, women and the home, plenty of jewellery shops and when you need a little break there are lots of bars and cafes to choose from. There is a shopping centre a short walk away if you wanted the Highstreet stores.

The ladies spent a couple of hours wandering through The Lanes, ignoring the freezing wind that whipped around every corner, they were in and out of several shops

This is a great little addition to Brighton, winding lanes with a mixture of vintage shops holding treasures to find and quaint eateries. Choccy woccy do day is a must visit while here to try chocolate and see their amazing artistry. It's easy to spend...More

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
