The Lanes are a quintessential part of old Brighton. Time wandering through them is a way of appreciating Brighton at its best.

Great area to pass away a day, loads of jewellery shops and bars and quirky shops. Plus so many pubs, and bars restaurants. So spoilt for choice here. Also fantastic nightlife, had a fantastic weekend here. Definitely will be returning.

Beautiful little shops, tight twisty narrow streets, amazing shops and jewellers with £££,£££ of diamonds in the window, rather enchanting and a beautiful part of Brighton

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
