Buzzing, happening place with interesting quirky shops, not the usual same old same old, anyone that likes a good old fashion rummage will also enjoy The Lanes. Great place to buy your loved one some jewellery too, lots of individual shops with excellent no pressure...More

Stuff of magic. Cute shops, funky bars, fun to explore in the day and night. Really great in the summer and pretty over Christmas xx

We were invited to have lunch with friends, and I was sorry that we did not have time to visit The Blackbird Tearooms - they look lovely and quirky, and the prices are very reasonable, too.

The Lanes are a fantastic way to idle away a few hours. Whether you are shopping, looking for antiques or just fancy sitting out watching the world go by from a café, its worth your while.

I love the Lanes in Brighton. Brighton is a great city with a very relaxed culture. The shops are all individual and unique. It's a must see, however parking is expensive. There's also plenty of restaurants to eat at.

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
