A great stroll with my class.

A great stroll from Saltdean to Rottingdean. Not too long in the car/coach, places to stop if you get peckish and you get to spend time with that special person in your life. This... read more

A great stroll from Saltdean to Rottingdean. Not too long in the car/coach, places to stop if you get peckish and you get to spend time with that special person in your life. This place is too great for you to miss out and if you have a dog then they're probably already excited for a long stroll. NO MONEY... More

done this walk a few times and always enjoyed it. worth doing when the weather is a bit wild but wear waterproofs. During expectional weather they do sometimes close it

If you want a stroll by the sea to clear the cobwebs, take the Undercliff Walk from Brighton along to Peacehaven. Around five miles of clean air and a sea view.

This is a great way to blow the cobwebs out when you are visiting Brighton. Head out to the marina and walk past the condos to get to the cliff walk. Easier to access than the white cliffs of Dover and just as beautiful. Walk to the end and grab a tea at the tea hut and walk back. Great... More

Several stopping off points and cafes at Ovingdean and Rottingdean if you don't want to walk all the way to Saltdean and back - or jump on the bus if you only want to go one way. Prepare to get wet if it's stormy and the tide is in. Popular with dog walkers (please pick up) and cyclists and very... More

You can make this walk more enjoyable and challenging by starting at the Marina and returning above the cliffs at Rottingdean. The cyclists can be a bit annoying, but I guess the cyclists get annoyed with the walkers. Never the train shall meet. . .

I do this walk twice a week and sometimes go with my friend and her dogs and love it, very calming and a feel good vibe. We sometimes stop off for a 10 minute break at the little cafe just below the cliffs for a coffee.

We frequently stroll the Undercliff Walk from Brighton to Rottingdean. It always seems a little warmer and brighter here than elsewhere - the cliffs buffer you from the wind reflect the light. When the sky is bright blue against the white cliffs, with white and black birds above, it's just amazing. Be warned, however, in stormy weather and when the... More

Took the bus to Saltdean and then walked back to Brighton along the undercliff - stopped for soup at one beach cafe and for tea and delicious cakes (with a hotwater bottle) at another - a wonderful way to spend a cold sunny winter afternoon

Walked from Brighton town centre to Rottingdean along this path which was wheel chair and push chair friendly as it is a flat concrete surface. All ages walking, jogging and cycling. The sea was crashing against the raised sea wall so you had to dodge the flying water and shingle that had been deposited on the path in some places.... More
