Came here for my birthday as it is one of my favourite places in Brighton and the whole point of our visit was 1985. We were a group of 8 people, we queued up at 11:50, and we... read more

This the second time we've been to the haunt to watch a band .The venue is pretty small so you get up close to the stage no problem ,the place has a great vibe with good door staff ,the bar staff know what they are doing which makes for a great night out.

We were on the guest list plus [name+9] that apparently wasn't good enough as the guy only allowed two of us for £3, have to admit would be happy if it went to the dude with the bad perm and get it sorted. Didn't argue enough as didn't wanna ruin a nice Friday night. Only employe who looked like she... More

We visited The Haunt during a hen do as there was an 80's music night on - the music was great. Unfortunately that's about it as everything else was pretty poor. The bouncers (particularly a small foreign man) were very rude to myself and some of my friends. Cruel comments about both my weight and appearance were thrown around, which... More

A well run intimate licenced music venue with an excellent sound and light system. It's a bit "spirit and saw dust" but I liked it a lot and will be looking for other things to see there.

Wow. What a night! Visited the haunt with a few friends from Baron's court and had a wonderful time. It was 80s night, which was...GOLD! Best thing, however, was the delightfully beautiful crowd - young and energetic, full of vim and vigour. Oh I danced the night away and rediscovered my youth. Highly recommend the haunt. It's great.

Came here to see one of my favourite bands F***** Up here a few weeks ago. It is a intimate and sweaty venue which suited me down to the ground. A crazy gig. As for the staff, I agree with most of the comments below, they really try and be bullish. Other than that an okay venue.

We have been to lots of gigs here and never had a good experience, but keep going back to see specific bands. Last night was the worst experience by far. Our tickets didn't arrive to I contacted the venue numerous times using the online enquiry form, direct email and Facebook, no response at all. I couldn't find a phone number... More

Yes my little pumpkins, good venue this, been to a lot of gigs here over the years. Nice and small, so perfect for alternative bands. Good sound, cheap drinks, what more could an alcoholic music lover want?
