Visited Molly Malones on the 23/03/17, as part of our last night in Brighton as we were on a short break away. Pub was great, good atmosphere and the music played was decent, they... read more

Looking for a quick stop after getting of the train we popped in to this pub, I can honestly say the pub had a nice feel at first and then we went to the bar, never have I been served before in complete silence, not a word just a barman who stood in silence whilst we asked for our drinks, served them in... Visited Molly Malones on the 23/03/17, as part of our last night in Brighton as we were on a short break away. Pub was great, good atmosphere and the music played was decent, they were playing indie rock which is right up my street. Drinks were priced well (I did not think they were too expensive - £3.70 for a... More

Lovely staff, best music in town, cold beer, great service in general. Definitely my favorite place in town!

In town for the weekend and while wondering around aimlessly noticed an Irish bar. That was it, evening planned. I was a bit concerned by some of the feedback as hubby doesn't carry id. He's also fast approaching 50. Walked in no problem, served with alcohol no problem. Settled down for the entertainment. Sadly couldn't stay long needed an early... More

When one can hear lively music from the top of West Street, the suspect is easy to track down: Molly Malones. Here we were served by a resplendent blonde boy who, despite being of below average height, served us with what can only be described as utter brilliance. We heard many renditions of our favorite song, wonderwall, which surely got... More

We're visiting Brighton on a surprise trip, enjoyed shopping and exploring only to end the day in this dump. 😕 The bar lady with long hair and black eye was so unfriendly when I ordered our drinks, harsh and almost like we had caused inconvenience by ordering! 😂 I was also ID'd which, after reading other disappointing experiences with this... Popped in on way back to hotel for a quick pint, relaxing atmosphere and lots of bits and bobs on the walls. Friendly staff who advised that their was a new band on in the evening. Being a Tuesday night and as we were with my son and his girlfriend we decided that would be on the plans for the... More

I was in Brighton during one month (on July) in order to take to an english exam. Every night we went (my schoolmates and me) to this pub and one night we have been kicked out because the bouncer gave the excuse that we were drunk ! ( I can affirm that we weren't drunk) we were dancing and therefore... More

This could be a gem of a pub, except the last time I visited, two drinks, being a beer and a wine costing £13 was bad enough. Whatever you do, do not go to the toilets. They were filthy and all of the loo roll was on the floor. This was the same in every loo. It was only six... More
