We had a wander round the gardens which were full of beautiful tulips. There were several smaller gardens off the main one, including a knot garden. We then came across the Sussex Guild shop and gallery, which had some beautiful objects for sale, made by many local artists. Worth visiting just for the gallery! It was free to get in,... More

We visited these gardens in the first week of April and were amazed by the colour already in view. These gardens are very sheltered with a small stream running through the centre there is a small showroom with various products from local artists for sale from glass, to paintings, to woodwork, carvings a place that is well worth a visit.

When I visited there wasn't much colour but the pampas grass was beautiful. Little spots of pink here & there along with some hellebores let you know spring was not far away

A popular place but still quite peaceful. Fab for a picnic or group gathering, and lovely to wander around. Be sure to pop into the Sussex Guild shop - some amazing crafts by some talented artists.

We explored the gardens on the way from Anne of Cleve's House back to the main street. Even in March, they were a pleasant and well-maintained landscaped are in which to relax and walk, with bridges over the water connecting up to the Sussex Guild Shop which is well worth a visit.

The perfect place for a cup of tea and a sandwich in the sun while reading a book on a blanket in the summer. Stunning flower beds when they're all in bloom!

I adore dogs, but when relaxing with friends/ family with young children it is good to have an option to relax in a park with a no dogs policy. No looking out for dog poop! Also, the cafe is great. Open from Easter - Early October, you can drink coffee and tea from a ceramic mug. Really so charming that... More
