Pleasant walk about a mile there and back to Rye Harbour Holiday Park. Very popular with people walking their dogs.

Always try and visit this nature reserve when in Rye. We picked a cold windy day but we were wrapped up warm. Excellent bird viewing from the hides. Popped into the Sussex Wildlife Trust Centre. There were a lot of interesting items on display. Work...More

Get rid of those cobwebs by going to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Whilst at this time of year the flora and insects aren’t evident, there was plenty of bird activity. Easy flat walking along paths that aren’t really muddy even after torrential rain. The new...More

The nature reserve has a tarmac and grave road which is great in for walking your dog in wet weather. Great place for bird watching and watching the waves crashing on the shore on a stormy day!

We've walked the circuit twice now and it can get very busy with other people, especially when the weather is okay. It's a lovely chance to see the amazing birds and other wildlife, most of which we don't know much about!!! The nice bit for...More

We loved our walk despite the pre snow storm cold wind! Very friendly helpful staff in little shop. Lots of interesting stuff to look at/buy. The bird hide is large with a great view.

The Rye circular walk via Winchelsea is about 7 miles, but there are are plenty of shorter (or longer) ones you could choose.
