I guess this is the same museum, called Ypres tower and/or Rye Castle museum. Easily accessible behind St Mary's church, and the view is very nice from here. Castle is not too big, but with an interesting history and small exhibition upstairs-downstairs and has a...More

Wonderful little museum that gives a marvelous history lesson of Rye. I did not realise Rye was the home of Captain Pugwash. It is free and well worth a visit.

Small museum but was happy to learn about the history of the town. Way to kill the time is the weather is very bad. If sunny I would recommend to walk to camber beach. there is a walkway alongside the main road

Small castle / museum but with intesting artefacts and history of Rye. Very helpful staff. Nicely presented. Things that children would find interesting. We assume some great views but sadly a bit misty on the day we visited.

The castle is very well preserved and has a series of interesting exhibitions about the former smuggling trade in and around Rye
