The Tower museum is a must place go visit in Rye. So much history and detailed artefacts displayed. The views across the marshes , Camber castle & beyond are worth the climb, while outside gardens surrounding the castle enhance the visit.

This is definitely a must visit while in Rye. The small museum packs a punch with its well organized and detailed exhibits. It is well maintained by a friendly staff that Is happy to tell you stories of folklore and ghosts.

Popped in here because we were in town and my 11 year old is doing a project on castles. Probably not big enough to be classed as a castle but an interesting half hour or so. Cheap entry and and lovely view from the top....More

Best seen at night as part of the ghost walk from the Heritage centre as really spooky in the dark. Visiting the Woman's prison in the day can make you jump but I'm not saying why...

Visited earlier this week on a brief visit to Rye . It is small but has a very interesting history and the curator was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great views from the viewing area

Hi there Yes, they are very dog friendly. And we were there late last year. Wish we could of brought our dogs away with us. They would of loved it in there.
