Description:

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold...

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is a fascinating journey through the 20th century that the whole family can enjoy. The Museum is bulging with great cars, quaint caravans, precarious looking motorcycles, enamel signs and an intriguing collection of motoring curiosities! Brum, the BBC TV's little super hero car whose adventures start and end at the museum can be found here every day.

Wasn't expecting much as not really a motoring or car fan but this was really nice! The exhibits are set out well with easy to read information details close by. Really succeeded in taking me to a bygone age of motoring. Very pleased we visited.

We visited the Motoring Museum whilst staying in Bourton-on-the-Water. It is extremely good value for money, and once we had paid our entry fee, we were told if we kept our receipt we could re-enter any time that day. An incredibly interesting collection of cars and associated memorobilia. In fact, so much to see that is definitely a good idea... More

Great little motoring museum spread out over a number of "sheds" very reasonable entrance fee for an interesting collection of cars and many items of memorabilia well sectioned into time periods. A great little museum helped with the fact it had my first little car in it ( a 1970's Hillman Imp ) amongst the many other vintage cars.

Oh my - we simply loved this museum. So much to see! Do not be put off by the title of 'motoring' - there is so much there - toys, bicycles, motorbikes, carts, displays and so much more. This is the best collection I have ever seen. I think it is a must see place.

We visited this museum for the afternoon on Saturday. There was plenty to look at and some play stations for younger kids as well as a quiz for the older ones. I think there is something for everyone here. We loved seeing Brum!

This wonderful 30 year old museum has so many things as well as a range of vintage cars, it is well worth a visit if you are in the beautiful area of Moreton-in-Marsh. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful...we almost passed this place but so glad we decided to look in. The museum is less than £6 (23/11/16)... More

This is a very cute museum. With 7 rooms the volunteers have done an excellent job with their displays, all accompanied by music depending on which era the rooms theme is. It's so much bigger than you first realise. Full of vintage cars, bikes, petrol pumps, caravans, tractors, toys and more, this is something the whole family will enjoy. Couldn't... More
