Small, but well detailed & interactive layouts

Highly recommend to visit the model railway. there are 3 huge models displayed...the 1st two are simply out of this world. We can keep looking at the tunnels, the trains, the signals for hours and hours and still have the same element of awe. The only sad part was that photography was not allowed. The 2nd model even allows us... More

Although the display is small it is still worth a visit. My son was so excited when he entered inside. The first one is just for looking at but the next two are interactive where the trains move around the track according to their button. My son could have spent all day in here! It was difficult to find as... More

I found the woman on the desk to be rude and unhelpful. The exhibition itself was just okay, not worth the £3 entry.

3 layouts all based on Hornby accessories but using a variety of locomotives and running stock. My 4 year old quite enjoyed pressing the buttons to make the trains start, but at £3 for an adult and £1.50 for a child this is not good value. The toy shop at the front is worth visiting though.

We have been visiting this exhibition for many years. Firstly with our children and now with the grandchildren. It never gets old, its great fun pressing the buttons and watching the trains move, Watching all the things that move. Every time we go I notice something new. It is definitely worth the entrance fee. The first exhibit where it goes... More

Been to Bourton twice now and have tried to see this exhibit both times! It never appears to be open! Most disappointing!

Me and my husband visited the model railway exhibition during our trip to Bourton-on-the-Water, as my other half is a keen model railway enthusiast. It cost a small fee to get in (around £3 each) and there were several displays out. The first of these was a great detailed layout, including a fairground with working rides, which went from day... It's only a small place but the details in the models are amazing there's a room where it goes day to night & the whole track & trains even the cars lights come on really good There are only 3 rooms & not being able to take photos is why I gave it 4 stars not 5

Amazing display of working miniature railways, was impressed by the changing of lights from day and night. Also that we could work the trains on the second track. Reasonable price of £3 each.

Kept my 5 year old hooked for half hour just watching all the moving bits in the first exhibit...then another twenty minutes pressing the buttons on the other displays and exhibits.its a rare display that can keep a youngster so entertained for so long, the level of detail and workmanship thats gone into these displays is superb, well worth the...
