Well worth visiting on a day when the weather is good, as it was for us. Only ruins remain of the Abbey, but it is easy to see how it was in its heyday, especially with the excellent information boards. What really brought the place to life were the audio guides. They take you through the place at your own... More

We were lucky with the weather and lambs were bouncing in the fields around so we were happy before we went in. Unfortunately the musium section was closed for restoration.but the information boards around the site were very good. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The Abbey ruins are preserved by English Heritage and when we visited recently they were closed for the winter. However, by using adjacent footpaths, it is possible to have an excellent view of the site. Opposite the Abbey is the parish church which is well worth a visit because it is a perfect example of an unrestored church which is... More

Fascinating history from 800 years ago.. little gift shop on site.. there is pictures dotted around showing what certain areas would've looked like 'back in the day'. Highly recommend visiting here.

Left derelict after the reformation, the plan of the old Abbey is still cleary visible. Must have been amazing when it was occupied, it is still impressive and very calming.

These are ruins, so don't expect to wander around perfect buildings, and do choose a sunny day. Then you can marvel at the amazing location an stunning sights of this ruin. It's beautiful and serene in summer and great for evocative photos. A good break from the tourists in nearby Broadway village

We had an excellent visit to the Abbey. The man operating the visitor's center was so enthusiastic and helpful! We had a great time wandering around learning more about the cistercian abbey. It's gorgeous! Try the mead and honey wine. yum!
