This is Cineworld's version of an upscale cinema, and borrows heavily from Vue/ Cinema de lux's concept. There is a bar in the entry area, and there are 3 'rooms' for the films. Each is small (20 ish seats), but the screen is a decent size and the seats are large leather armchairs. The gimmicks are that the cinema is... More

Wife had her friends over so I took off to the screening rooms by myself and enjoyed a movie with only 5 other people in the theatre. Staff were not busy so very attentive. It is often the case that snacks and drinks ordered arrive after the film has started but no such problems last night. I don't understand why... More

Well, what a tremendous experience. Took my wife to see a movie on her birthday. It was a very plush venue with large comfy seats with table service. As well as the usual fizzy drinks we also had wine and beer, tea and coffee to choose from - delivered to our seats by smart waiting staff. Being surrounded by people... More

We are Cineworld Unlimited members, but had avoided visiting The Screening Rooms as there is approximately an extra £5 per person charge. After visiting last night we wish we had gone earlier. This makes going to the cinema a special experience, you are not part of a large crowd having to filter through in a long queue, you feel more... More

Average film , made enjoyable with a gin & tonic . Comfy chairs .... although I did notice there were children under 18years after 5pm . Approximately under 10years . Which irritated me somewhat after last year my 17year old was refused a child friendly film after 5pm . As apparently the cheltenham screening rooms don't allow under 18years after... More

Love this venue in Cheltenham - comfy seats, waitress service - very civilised! Worth paying the extra fee to make it more of an occasion

Such a great place to watch films without the crowds, noise, gallons of coke and vast buckets of popcorn to distract. Instead there are several small screening rooms, with service of drinks and food to the seat. It costs more but well worth the extra. Worth signing up online for a small discount.

I went to see La La Land. For the iconic, apparently single take, opening scene I saw ... a waitress standing in front of me delivering food orders to other people. I tried to peer round her but by the time she shuffled along a little bit the impact of the scene was lost. If you're going to have waitress... More

First off lovely concept, lots of seat space, although seats not very supportive but still comfortable. Service however is poor. Told we had to order drinks and food in our seats but there were no menus so they had to go get menus rather than telling us what's available. Then they ran out of time before start of movie and... We just loved this place. What a wonderful idea having table service for drinks and food before you watch your movie. Really comfortable leather seats. Go mid-afternoon as it is alot cheaper than evening time.
