The town was absolutely buzzing and the atmosphere was amazing. The church was decorated with trees and they were all lit and decorated by local businesses.charities etc .This made the church come alive and was a credit to all who had worked to make it look... Must have visit when in the center of Cirencester, this is a very large church recently had a major overhaul inside and the old town hall attached to the front had an exterior renovation. Even in winter with underfloor heating this is a very pleasant warm church to visit. Many interesting interior features which the church wardens are more than... More

This church has been re-ordered with great taste and some of the most beautiful aspects and furnishings have been cleverly highlighted. The lady in the shop was very welcoming and showed us the way to the lovely abbey grounds which are worth a visit.

Although there were building works outside this parish church, which is much larger than your average parish church, there was a peaceful interior. Lots of interesting and historical things to see, from the individual chapels to the magnificent stained glass windows. Admission is free, though there are donation areas with a suggested £3 contribution. Friendly staff on duty. You can... More

Beautiful buildings in this town although, lots of roadworks at the moment which makes taking photos difficult.

If possible get a tour up to the tower, It's amazing view from up there. Really enjoyed that. Loads of history about it as well.

This church dominates the market square and town centre in this upmarket Cotswold town. It has just had an exterior and interior makeover and although the former may be seen by some as a mis-coloured mess, the interior is delightful. There are many interesting items to see inside, a book store, information guides, church guides (in many languages) and at... More

A walk back into history. This church is beautiful. Many artifacts inside the church. Would definitely go back!

I made my first contact with the parish via the Internet. I saw that if there is good weather there are tours of the bell tower. This bell tower has some of the largest bells in the UK! The tower's clock is as accurate as my iPhone's clock. In fact, when I heard the tower's clock strike 5pm I looked... More
